To begin, I would like to introduce myself to you as we will be spending quite a bit of time together this year. I received my Bachelor Degree from SUNY Oswego where I majored in English and minored in Women's Studies. Two and a half years after graduating from Oswego, I graduated from Le Moyne College with my Masters Degree in English and Special Education for grades 7-12.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was still in high school. As a student, I had so many wonderful teachers who inspired me and taught me how to be a better thinker, writer, and reader; some day I hope to return the favor to my students! I am very excited about teaching you this year as I will be implementing some different teaching techniques and ideas into our classroom that I hope will make the learning process a little different for you as well as fun. I LOVE reading and writing, so we will be doing a lot of that, but I hope to tie in some things that you think might interest you as well such as certain activities or projects.
